Since the laws around sports betting changed in 2021, more and more British Columbians have been trying it out. Game Sense, BCLC’s responsible gambling group, wanted to remind fans that betting on sports comes with risks. With the goal of reinforcing positive behaviours, our campaign shares tips and tactics to minimize getting too caught up in sports betting—like sticking to a game plan and taking timeouts—while still having fun placing bets on your favourite sports.
