Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly

How do you unify a multi-stakeholder organization around a single vision?

The Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly (CNA) was looking to articulate their story and purpose through a refreshed brand identity. Built around a new Brand Idea – “Connecting with our past. Creating our future.”, the brand identity was inspired by Indigenous rock paintings and key cultural themes. For this particular project, we worked in tandem with nłeʔképmx jewelry designer, and CNA member, Mike Hill.

Connecting with our past, creating our future - Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly.

Brand Idea. Connecting with our past. Creating our future. Manifesto - We connect with our past to honour our ancestors and ensure our knowledge and wisdom live on. This is reconnection with Tmixw, with all living things, protecting and healing our land and NIaka'pamux culture and traditions. We do this in unity, eight Participating Bands standing as one Nation. In gathering and community, we find our strength. We all win when we come together, we are powerful. Through our social, cultural, environmental and economic work for our members and communities we create opportunities and amplify voices. We reclaim past stories and create new ones of unity and progress for today and for seven generations into the future.
